CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2015 NATIONAL AWWA SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Two students from the Intermountain Section have received a national scholarship as well as the scholarships they won from the Intermountain Section.

Stetson Basset with Utah State University for receiving the Bryant L. Bench Scholarship from Carollo Engineers 

Kade Beck with Utah State University for receiving the Neptune Technology Group Scholarship.

 

2017 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Information on our 2017 Scholarships will be available in September 2017

The Intermountain Section AWWA scholarship program supports students pursuing studies in the field of water quality, supply, and treatment in the Intermountain West.

The Section sponsors four separate scholarships including an undergraduate scholarship in science and engineering, a graduate scholarships in science and engineering, and a scholarship to support an outstanding minority student in the water field. Awards given are in the amounts ranging from $1,250 to $1,750.  Some years additional scholarships are sponsored by Section Members and/or Companies. Every applicant will also be awarded a one year AWWA student membership just for applying.

A completed application form and all required supporting materials are due generally in the first week in November (Check scholarship applications for exact date requirements). All application submission information can be found here as it becomes available. The recipients will be notified and the award sum will be made available .
