Presenter:  Nick Kryger, Salt Lake City Public Utilities

In this session you will learn how Salt Lake City Public Utilities uses GIS to save time and money in day to day work. You will also learn how people working in the field have access and use live interactive maps on a tablet environment. This session will also show how GIS and GPS is used to help the Operator’s work more efficiently at their jobs.

 

 

 

Water System Modeling

Presenter:  Ying-Ying Macauley, Utah Division of Drinking Water

This presentation will cover an overview of hydraulic modeling, Utah's requirements, how water system operation can benefit from hydraulic modeling, etc. The impact of sub-metered properties (or Planned Unit Development PUD) on public water systems, and key factors to consider when dealing with water system growth and expansion will be discussed.
