Amy Freeze: Meteorologist, Innovator, & Public Safety Advocate

Amy Freeze is a pioneering meteorologist, media innovator, and six-time Emmy Award winner, recognized for her dynamic career in broadcast meteorology and her groundbreaking work in weather technology. She made history as the first female Chief Meteorologist in Chicago, she anchored the world’s first FAST Weather Channel in New York, and became the first American meteorologist to brand a digital avatar and create her own weather ecosystem with Utah company Shreezer Media.

With over two decades of forecasting experience, Amy has covered life-changing weather events coast to coast, including Portland, Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia and NYC. Her forecast during the May 2011 EF5 Joplin tornado was nationally rebroadcast and later cited in federal records. A leader in integrating social media with weather updates, Amy was one of the first broadcasters to use platforms like Twitter (now X) and Facebook to deliver real-time updates, shaping the modern landscape of weather communication.

Beyond her television career, Amy has made significant contributions to public safety and emergency management. Her work in Hurricane Sandy and winter storm alerts has led to changes in public messaging and safety protocols, saving lives and improving preparedness. Amy’s media and scientific contributions have also been featured across popular culture, including appearances on Jeopardy! Netflix, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Thomas Winterton is the manager of the world’s most studied paranormal hotspot, Skinwalker Ranch. He has managed the famous ranch since 2016 and is an integral part of the ongoing scientific investigation that has been documented on The History Channel’s Hit Television Series, The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. His time on the mysterious ranch has led to him witnessing many unexplained and life altering events. 

A native of the Uintah Basin in Utah and a successful entrepreneur and business leader, Thomas is the founder and operator of multiple businesses including Construction, Hotels, Film production, Business Consulting, and Renewable Energy. His strong knowledge of business and political strategy has secured him a perfect win record as the political campaign manager in multiple county and state elections. 

Thomas is involved in many volunteer and charitable organizations, and has served on many Boards and Committees, including serving as the Roosevelt Rotary Club President, as well as the Chairman of the Board for One Heart Bulgaria, a non-profit that provides humanitarian relief to orphans in Bulgaria, as well as serving on many more volunteer boards and committees.  

Thomas currently resides in Utah with his wife Melissa and their 3 Boys. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to new places, watching football, swimming in the ocean, and practicing martial arts where he has earned a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Shoto-Kan Karate.
