The Annual Conference Committee plans and implements the Section's Annual Conference during the fall each year.

The Awards Committee collects nominations forms and reviews nominations to select award winners.

The Engineering & Construction Committee plans and executes construction project tours. The Committee also represents the Section with the Utah Engineers Council.

The Leadership Development Committee plans and executes the Leadership Forum program.

Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Committee deals with the following areas: 1) Ensures that our members understand and keep abreast of regulations and laws pertaining to the water industry. 2) Works with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and personnel on specific issues affecting the water industry. 3) Updates members on the regulatory aspects and climate that could affect the water industry.

The Membership Committee serves our current and prospective members of IMS AWWA.

The Midyear Conference Committee plans and executes the annual Educational Extravaganza Midyear Conference.

The Youth and Consumer Education Committee plans and executes programs and services to help educate the public on the value of water.

The Newsletter & Internet Committee produce From The Tap, a quarterly Newsletter as well as maintain and update the website.

The Idaho Regional Team coordinates training, networking and project tour activities for water operators in Idaho.

The Safety and Security Committee assists the Small Systems Committee in their operator training classes by presenting specific information on safety, security, and/or emergency response of water systems. In addition, they publish an article in the Section's quarterly publication The Flow.

The Small Systems Committee conducts six operator workshops, two precertifcation trainings, and a symposium each year.

The Treatment and Distribution Committee provides training on water treatment water and distribution topics.

The Water For People Committee plans and executes events to benefit Water For People, the Section's charity of choice.

The Water Quality Committee organizes training events for our members to offer CEU and PDH credit hours.

The Young Professionals Committee coordinate events at our annual conference as well as throughout the year.
