Welcome to the Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Committee Page.  Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Committee deals with the following general areas:

• Ensures that our members understand and keep abreast of regulations and laws pertaining to the water industry.
• Works with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and personnel on specific issues affecting the water industry.
• Updates members on the regulatory aspects and climate that could affect the water industry.

You should join this committee if you like to do one or more of the following:

• Introduce a speaker
• Moderate sessions at educational events
• Plan and coordinate speakers for an education event
• Write or edit articles for the newsletter and/or e-newsletter
• Help with PR and marketing the even
• Design flyers for events
• Coordinate Facilities and/or Equipment
• Contact Federal congressional representatives and/or State Legislative representatives
• Working with Public Officials
• Government and Regulatory Affairs
