Welcome to the Safety & Security Committee Page.  The Safety and Security Committee assists the Small Systems Committee in their operator training classes by presenting specific information on safety and/or security of water systems. In addition they publish a Safety & Security E-Newsletter on a bimonthly basis.

You should join this committee if you like to do one or more of the following:

• Speak to groups on safety, security, and/or emergency response topics
• Collaborate with other safety professionals on safety and security topics
• Moderate sessions at Intermountain Section AWWA conferences
• Attend exciting annual tours of a new water project or existing facility
• Write articles for the quarterly Section publication, The Flow
