IMS AWWA Receives Membership Award

Each year, AWWA tasks individual Sections with a Membership Challenge.  The goals include First Year Membership Retention and an increase in Membership.  2013 was a good year for Intermountain Section and we were able to meet each of the goals.  

New Membership Committee Chair Kim Bell (Singleton), Section Executive Director Alane Boyd and Section Membership Communications Coordinator Lisa Anderson were able to attend the yearly Membership Summit in Denver and received the award.

The challenge for 2014 includes

* Developing a 2014 Membership Action Plan (in the works already)

* Submit a summary of the plan 

* Meet a 67% retention rate of Individual and Operations/Administrative members who joined our Section in 2013
