Leadership Forum Concludes Another Successful Year

The 2015-16 Leadership Forum has completed another successful year. Congratulations to the following for successfully completing the program and will be recognized at an awards luncheon in August:

We also want to express our appreciation to the many volunteers who support the leadership program through sharing presentations at each of our sessions. Additionally, I express my appreciation to the Management Development Committee for their efforts in making this program a big success. THANK YOU!

We are looking forward to the 2016-17 leadership forum. The forum is designed around the 10 attributes of a successfully managed utility. The focus of each forum session will discuss topics such as employee and leadership development, stakeholder understanding and support, product quality, infrastructure stability, financial viability and customer relations, just to name a few. If there is someone in your organization that could benefit from participation in the forum, please submit an application. You will not be disappointed.

Finally, it has been a pleasure working with so many good people who continue to serve on the management development committee. Many thanks to Mark Stanley who has provided wonderful insight and direction as our council chair. I look forward to working with Keith Lord as he takes the reigns as chair of the committee. Thanks to all who have made the leadership forum (by the way an AWWA award-winning program) the great success that it is.
