Member Engagement Committee Focuses in 2017

The Membership Engagement Committee focuses on engaging our new members with welcome emails and phone calls. We also have booths at our Midyear and Annual Conference to have face-to-face engagement with new and current members. One of the main goals is to create an atmosphere where new members feel that they are a part of our Section and give them a sense of belonging and a wish to get involved.

Being the “new guy” can be difficult so our goal is to lessen the possible feeling of being new and engage them with existing members and involve them in our activities. Just being a resource for contact to ask any question or help refer them to someone who can aid them is a valuable tool that we use as a committee.
